About Me & the dogs
Hi
Matt & Jacqui live in the wonderful county of Sussex in the South East of the UK. We have a mutual love of Otterhounds and it was through this wonderful breed that we met.
Our dogs are:-
Donut & Nanacy Crufts 2009
Donut:- Ch Ir Ch Cairo's Mystical ShCM, An CH 07, W08 (Otterhound - black & tan) 14/09/05
Joint top Otterhound in the UK in 2007 Top Otterhound in Ireland 2007, 1st Otterhound to gain a Show Certificate of Merit, Best of Breed Crufts 2007 aged just 17 months where he also gained his UK title 1st Otterhound to gain an Irish Champion title, 1st Otterhound to win a Group in Ireland Runner up top Otterhound in Ireland 2008 & top Male Otterhound Ireland 2008
Donut was given to Jacqui by Jayne & John (his breeders) when she lost his 1/2 brother, Gryff, to seizures. He is our wonderful boy and kept Jacqui sane when she lost Gryff by giving her back her smile. He will now only be shown lightly as he makes way for his brothers. Donut is brother to Marz & Munki
Donut was shown at Crufts 2009 by Nancy Lange of O'Heavens Otterhounds in the USA and they were placed 3rd in the open class.
Marz - Cairo's Marzbar (Otterhound - black & tan) 14/09/05
Top Otterhound Puppy 2006
Marz has only been shown lightly but did win the RCC from Puppy at Paignton in 2006 and was Top Otterhound Puppy 2006. He was living with Matt but has now moved back to be with pack as Matt & Jacqui are together. Marz is Donut and Munki's brother
We hope to get him back in ring in 2010.
Bailey - Goldfly Stars Bill Bailey at Spinnotta (Italian Spinone - orange roan) 24/01/99
Bailey was Jacqui's birthday present to herself on 26/03/99. He won the puppy dog class at Crufts 2000 and was generally placed at shows - however he did not like showing so he was not shown much. He retired fully after Richmond Champ show 2007 aged 8. He now spends much of his time asleep on the sofa or our bed, or trying to find new ways of escaping. He is now a master escapologist and really keeps us on our toes. He can open nearly every door but then he was taught by the best escape artist in the dog world - Meghan who was the love of his life.

Joker & Karmen Crufts 2009
Joker - Uisneach Absolute Joker (Otterhound - black & tan) 19/03/07
Joker is co-owned with Jayne Dunn and he arrived in the UK in July 2007. Bred by Bea Urban in Ireland he really does live up to his name. He has won a puppy hound group, got a puppy group 2, 2 puppy group 3 and an adult group 4. At his first championship show in the Uk in May 2008, he won the Resvere CC under breed specialist Pam Bonos.
Joker was shown at Crufts 2009 by 13 year old Karmen Lange from the USA and they won the Post Graduate Class. Karmen has won many junior handling titles in the USA and has taken her young Otterhound, Dazzle to her UKC Champion title.
Jacqui & Munki Crufts 2009
Munki - Cairo's Munkybizniz (Otterhound - red grizzle) 14/09/05
Munki is co-owned with Jayne & John Dunn. She has really taken her time to grow up both mentally and physically so she has only been shown lightly. That said, she did win the Green Star and CACIB at the IKC International show 2007 and has always managed to qualify for Crufts. She is Marz & Donut's sister.
Munki has recently done a photo shoot for Royal Canin dog food which was great fun and she really enjoyed being the centre of attention. She will be used in their new Dog Encyclopeadia and advertising in the UK and internationally.
Munki won the Limit Bitch class this year at Crufts
Nilbud Tiger Lady - Nellie (Afghan Hound - tiger brindle) 22/03/04
Nellie the afghan is owned by Jayne Dunn but lives with us, She is a wonderful girl and is shown by my friend Clair Nolcini. She rules the roost at home and is just a typical afghan.
