Gone but never forgotten

Ch Cairo's Gryffindor for Spinnotta CW06- Gryff -  11/01/05 - 15/07/06

Although Gryff only lived for only 2 1/2 years - he made a huge impact & he was the light in my life

Top Otterhound Puppy 2004      Best Puppy in Breed Crufts 2005      Runner up top Otterhound 2005     Top male Otterhound 2005

Gryff was diagnosed as having epilepsy on 27th April 2006 and died in my arms at 8:30 am on 15th July 2006

Trussardi Tarintino -Archie - 29/02/00 - 10/11/08

Archie suddenly became ill on 8th November 2008 and despite of hoping he would be ok I had to make the decision to let him go on 10th November 2008.

He was a wonderful boy and loved life but this was just one challenge too much for him.  He is now running free of pain at Rainbow Bridge

Balthazar Minuet at Cairo's - Gerty 09/09/98 - 12/06/09

Gerty had cancer so the decision was made to give her rest on 12/06/09.

She was my tutor in the world of otterhounds and provided me with many 1st's - my 1st stud book number, my 1st cc, my 1st Best of Breed at a championship show,  my 1st champion (Gryff) and, most importantly - my 1st otterhound love.

She will be greatly missed by us all.  She has joined her son, Gryff, and brother Scumpy at Rainbow Bridge.

Mia (Rottie) dob unknown - 19/11/09

Mia was the rescue of the pack  She came to us around summer 2000 aged approx 4 years old and we spent many months rehabilitating her as she was nothing short of a very very angry and scared little girl.   After months of love and care she became my friend and even came on holiday with me to Ireland.  When Matt and I got together she took to him in a way that she never had with any man before.  She began to get wobbly on her legs and after a couple of falls where she had real trouble getting up, we decided to give her rest.  I am honoured that she trusted me after the life she had before I got her and am so grateful that she shared her life with me. She will be missed by us all. are at Rainbow Bridge with:-

Rocky - 03/03/93 - 01/03/01 (rottie) - my 1st rottie who was a long coat and a great representative for the breed - he was a registered pets as therapy dog - a job that he loved

China - 1999 - July 2001 (Rottie) - my 2nd rottie who was a rescue girl.  she was very badly treated and due to severe mental trauma I had to have her put to sleep just 6 weeks after she came to me.  I am just glad that for the last 6 weeks of her life she received love and got to sleep on my bed.

Meghan - 27/04/93 - 15/08/06 (gwp) - Megs belonged to Jayne Dunn but lived with me  she was a grand lady and loved her showing.  she died peacefully in my arms just 1 month after I lost Gryff.
